Anton goes over some hidden features of the brand new iOS 8 that was just announced at the WWDC 2014 keynote by Apple. It will be coming this fall for the iPhone 4s and newer, iPad 2 and newer, and the fifth-gen iPod touch.
iOS8 upgrades mentioned:
Camera: Older phones get burst mode, iPad gets panoramic shot. A new self timer feature, separate focus/exposure, nnew time lapse feature.
Notifications: Facebook/imessage/etc can be replied to from the homescreen.
Messaging: Can now send voice recordings via iMessage.
Siri: "Hey Siri", Shazam built in
Safari: Can now request desktop site, private mode tweak
Keyboard: Emoji built into default keyboard
iBooks: Now built into the OS, auto night mode
Mail app: more swipe over options
Health app: New app with lots of integration potential
Spotlight: Can now search the internet, etc.
Usage: Can show battery usage percentage
