Loaded up BF3.3 RC3 on the Stingy to test it out. With all the hype of RC1 and the promise of single variable filter tuning, I'm all on for RC3.
8K/8K with all notches off, PT1 enabled, and the stage 2 lowpass freq. set to 90. I am going to keep turning this number up until I can feel out the sweet spot, in conjunction of reviewing blackbox logs.
How does it fly? Great, but not night and day from 3.2.4. It's definitely smoother and more responsive, and the pulls out of dives and split S's are smoother. For me, I noticed the low speed, low-alt control, I was able to do more precise maneuvers closer to the ground, and it felt better through the off-axis moves,. Still have some propwash, but I think that will reduce as the tune gets better. Another damn cloudy day, and I was having such fun, I decided ONE MORE split S would do it. Of course, I jam my quad into the top of this pine tree for 2 days. Thanks again GTC FPV for climbing that bastard and getting it out for me!!
