This is a university project that I created about Augmented Reality and the way it is used and interacted with.
Beyond uses flARToolkit and various off the shelf components combined together to created a wearble headset that enhances augmented reality.
There has always been dreams of being able to walk around and experience something extra to the world you see around yourself. This is my take on this dream.
Beyond is about the story of a father and son and their relationship and the tragic events that befall upon them. The story is told through the childs perspective and is represented as such.
Using hand drawn imagery is also another odd step for usage in augmented reality. Most people use computer generated imagery that is often does not look very good. With hand drawn imagery, you experience something that is unexpected especially when it is suddenly embedded in the walls around you.
