SYNOPSIS
BIG WAVE IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY brings us to the world of big-wave surfers in the Basque Country, a small
group of athletes with a desire for improvement that leads them to take on the biggest and most dangerous waves
on the planet.
Drawing on scenes of spectacular beauty, the documentary takes us through some of the most ideal locations on
the Basque coast to practice this modality. Images of Punta Galea, Meñakoz, Mundaka, Orrua ... combined with
the testimonies of some of our most renowned surfers who tell us their experiences and tell us their point of view
on this risky sport.
