Turnigy aerodrive sk3 3100kv motors - I didnt research these properly and only found out they were prop savers after they were delivered. I'm having crazy oscillation after take off which I think has to do with the prop savers not holding on tight enough. Have purchased new prop shafts for prop adapters to see if it fixes the problem.
Both Hobbyking propellers dont seem to mount directly to these motors without some sort of modification...Should have just spent the extra and gone with Sunnysky
Blueseries 12a esc (non flashed - too lazy and cheap atm). Ive been noticing the motors get warm even after a couple minutes run time while testing. So these may need to be flashed when i can be bothered.
Naze32 flight controller.
Immersion 250mw vtx (was still waiting for the module when this video was made) and Sony 600tvl cam
Connected up my new receiver and it wasn't compatible with my remote module...ended up cannibalizing another quad for the old receiver till i can update the remote not that anybody will care.
*update* I modified the remote with the new telemetry module and now works with my receiver.
Its running in CPPM mode so i've ditched the wiring harness and just running 3 cables from the board to receiver. This is new to me and pretty cool.
I've wired up the voltage reading and buzzer to the naze.
Video transmitter arrived too woop.
Pretty lights are pretty.
*update 2*
Bought sunnysky motors as i thought theyd fix the oscillation issue. Nope, wrong thing to replace.
Bought flasher cable for $20 *eeeekk* Flashed the escs. quad flies now. Seems naze32 stock settings dont work with non flashed escs.
Using hobbyking osd. All it does is display battery voltage in the corner which is all i really need for zooming around close range.
