כמו שאר תושבי ישראל הסובלים מרקטות של ארגון הטרור החמאס וגוזלים את מנוחתם ושלוותם של רבבות תושבים, הרגיש זאת על בשרו הזמר שמילי אונגר אשר כיתת את רגלו לארץ ישראל, בכדי להופיע בנתיבות אשר בדרום הארץ, ואז בדיוק לילה לפני האירוע הופצצו תושבי הדרום במטר רקטות על האיזור כולו, וההופעה בוטלה מטעמי בטחון,
בלית ברירה חזר אונגר לניו יורק מאוכזב ללא שהופיע בההופעה המדוברת, כשהוא נוחת ויוצא לחניון שדה התעופה, תוך כדי חיפוש מכוניתו בחניון, מקבל אונגר טלפון ממנהל ומנצח תזמורת סבבה המעבד האגדי מנדי הרשקוביץ, אשר שמע את הסיפור ממלך המוזיקה החסידית "מרדכי בן דוד" שהיה אמור גם הוא להופיע באותו הופעה, ושבו היה אמור לארח את אונגר, הרשקוביץ מנחם את אונגר המאוכזב מביטול ההופעה, ותוך כדי דיבור צץ בראשו של הרשקוביץ רעיון להוציא שיר עם מילים של ביטחון אמונה ותקווה , הרשקוביץ מיד מדקלם את המילים בטחו בשם! אונגר מתלהב ומסכים לרעיון, הרשקוביץ פונה עם הרעיון למפיק הידוע אלי לישנסקי ולמנצח ומעבד מקהלת שירה המצליחה יואלי הורביץ, ויחדיו הם נכנסים עם תזמורתו של הרשקוביץ ״תזמורת סבבה״ לאולפנו של אלי, ומקליטים את השיר, כשעל התזמור והניצוח כמובן מנדי הרשקוביץ, ועל השירה שמילי אונגר בליווי מדהים של מקהלת שירה, ויחד הביאו תוצאה מדהימה של שיר וקליפ חדש.

Last Summer, Shmueli Ungar was scheduled to perform together with MBD in a major show with Haminagnim in Eretz Yisroel. Sadly, there were terror attacks in the form of rockets flying in very close to where the concert was scheduled to be. The police, due to safety issues decided the show needs to be canceled.
Upon arriving back to America, Shmueli was discussing a Chupa they had that night with Mendy Hershkowitz of Sababa Band. Mendy asked him the complete story as he had only heard bits and pieces, during the conversation the idea came up to do a song together. Shmueli, echoing his thoughts about this recent story, settled on the words, "Bitchu Bashem" for a concept.
No matter what happens, no matter the curves life throws our way, Hashem is the one in charge, all we have to do is keep the faith. Together with composer Hershey Weinberger and his producer, Naftali Schnitzler the super team joined together to create the upcoming single and video you are about to enjoy.
