At ECTS 1999, a group of Net Yaroze owners attending the conference bumped into Peter Molyneux in a bar up the road from Olympia. After interrupting him and introducing ourselves (which led to a friendly chat), he invited us to turn up at his hotel the next morning for a private demo of Black & White.
Scarcely able to believe our luck and convinced we'd be turned away, we turned up. True to his word - and somewhat to the annoyance of his PR - Peter gave our motley crew of students / games industry wannabes a 15 minute demo of Black & White - at that time, one of the most anticipated games around!
