A break from my usual video format. I was recently reminded (thanks to OldSchoolGamer1203) that on the April 17, 2003 edition of SmackDown there was a really goofy promo from Brock Lesnar that teased a change in character, but WWE did a QUICK U-Turn. It was surreal. Weird that it hasn’t become a part of wrestling lore now. With classic lines such as "I landed on my noggin.", "F-5's hurt!" and "Thank the lord" (This was said in a serious, literal, non sarcastic manner, BROCK LESNAR SAID THIS!), it's amazing how it's been forgotten when back in the day when it happened, the internet (as proven by wrestling message boards from that time) went crazy over it.
