It's hard to believe that the original Tron movie which was released back in 1982 will be turning 30 years old next week. Despite the film being considered a box office disappointment, the film became a cult classic. Its gradual success led to the creation of its successful sequel Tron: Legacy and the new Disney XD animated series Tron: Uprising.
Fans who were disappointed that Tron: Legacy didn't feature enough of Tron should not be discouraged, as Tron himself (aka Bruce Boxleitner) confirmed that another installment is in the works
