An insightful look at the plight of the air field in Tokoroa as the Council again fails to address the needs of the community while it heads to the polls for election and this will be an election issue. Ask the 28 candidates for South Waikato District Council what they will do to support local business at the airfield. And ask the four mayoral candidates why local rate payers are made step aside while trying to develop promotional activities of the district and bring business to town. Touch and go by the air uses from other places does not put feet on the ground and in fact puts bums on seats waiting and wasting time when they are here from all over the country to spend quality time in the district
