The Bücker company was initially established in 1933 in Berlin Johannisthal, Germany by Carl Clemens Bücker. Carl Bücker hired a Swedish aeronautical design engineer by the name of Anders J. Andersson who designed the two seat trainer Bücker Jungmann (meaning young man in German) B-131 then followed it up by the single seat trainer Bücker Jungmeister B-133 in 1935. This company became such a big success that they moved to a larger facility in 1935 and the then obscure German Air Force used the Bückers until the end of WWII in 1945
