St. Maarten Cable TV workers and representatives of their union – St. Maarten Communications Union (SMCU) – assembled outside the TelEm Group main office on Pond Island on Wednesday in an effort to have an audience with the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kendall Dupersoy, who eventually met with them. The workers are concerned about being locked out of Cable TV’s office since Tuesday, January 2, and want answers. While waiting for Dupersoy’s arrival at the office, SMCU President Ludson Evers addressed workers about their current plight. Here is a bit about what he had to say
