Conference for Asian-Pacific Pre-Professionalism (CAPP)
Wed, Feb. 27, 2013
Doheny Beach A, C, & D
6-10pm
This year's Conference for Asian-Pacific Pre-Professionalism (CAPP) is centered on helping students explore the many options and opportunities that college has to offer. In particular, this year's theme is -- Leave No Stone Unturned: Exploring Your Paths as a College Student. Brian Olfato, PASS' current External Vice President, wants to show college students that there is no clear-cut road to take throughout college and that there are so many facets within the fields of Social Science and Social Ecology. By bringing in speakers who have followed these paths to where they are now and incorporating self-identification workshops, we hope to provide guidance to students who are still undecided, as well as those who have already chosen a path. Through CAPP, PASS wants to broaden the awareness of its general members and give them as many chances and opportunities to find their ideal path. No one should have to settle on one set career path without exploring their options. College is a time for exploration.
