A unique journey trough Cappadocia (or Kapadokya as locally known), a small province in central Turkey. This land seems to have been crafted as the set of a fairy tale, by the wind and water.
Despite being in Turkey, here, until the early XX century, Greeks and Turks were living together. Here the first christians built the underground cities of Derikuyu and Kaymakli to hide from the Romans and this land has still more churches than mosques.
We visited this land in June 2015. We came here by car but got lost walking in the various valleys.
