Carlisle Airport is the UK's newest airport - and I was onboard the inaugural flight, with Loganair to Dublin, Ireland! Carlisle Lake District Airport last saw passenger flights in 1993, and has since built a brand new terminal offering flights to Dublin, Belfast and Southend with Loganair.
