At CES 2011 a company called TSM presented a 65" touch screen that baffled me by costing only $699. That is incredible cheap for such a huge touch sensible screen. It uses diodes around the actual screen which places an invisible infrared grid which your hand touches. So it is actually not a touch sensible screen which is even better when used for interactive purpose. That way you can place some protective glass between screen and user interface. In fact I imagine the screen being located inside a front store window and the light diode frame on the outside of a store window. Jens Welling / CES 2011
