Well, after watching a video from Mr Steele on the Hybrid Thumb/Pinch technique of holding your Transmitter, I decided to give it a go.
So after about 8 years of Heli flying using Thumbs - Today was my first go at something completely new for me..
I found it harder to move the sticks fully in most directions, but could do so with more control. So as a result, it takes me personally, more effort to produce large stick movements.
I did find control much smoother, as expected, but I needed to increase the sensitivity of my quad to accommodate.
I wanted something that would allow me to change back to thumbs easily - so decided to play with rates and expo in my TX - as that would be easy to change back.
After a few batteries and various changes - I found I needed a LOT more sensitivity around centre stick - which is OPPOSTITE to how I normally fly with Thumbs.
So my expo went from +10% to -20% (Yes Minus !!!)
Rates remained at 100%
I found this good for me and after a bunch of flights today - here is a DVR recording of one of my afternoon flights..

Remember! This is my very first day changing how I hold and use my Transmitter after 8 years of habit...
Quite happy with the end results which ended up with me flying as fast as I have been lately (which is not that fast - lol)...
