On a mild winters day we are chasing the Ann Arbor Railroad north from Milan Michigan to Osmer Michigan, and then again back south. This video only shows the drone shots from that chase, giving an epic view of the grain trains!
The first shot taken is at Warner Road pond on the Northbound trip. This is a shot I have wanted with my drone for a long time, so I was very happy to notch it off of my list. Here the mainline finishes up an S cure and heads north under Michigan Ave.
The Next shot we took was on the Southbound run, and it is probably the best drone work I have done so far. The now southbound run heads over the Huron River Bridge. Here I was able to do quite a bit of work as the train slowly made its way south.
The final drone shot was at Milan Michigan, where the train crosses the NS Detroit District. Here we get a birds eye view of the operation again, as the train continues on its way south.
