An unboxing and first-look review of a Chenbro RM 42300-F Rackmount Server Computer Case.
There is a paint, mod, and build video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6OGpGHWpjc
This is my personal case. I chose this case for its moderate depth, utility, and price. My application for this case is for a computer that processing video, renders ray-traced animations, and of course, a bit of gaming. I also use it for audio-related tasks, so I am going to want it to be quiet.
While I have better lighting and color correction in the video than the others, ambient light is still scarce in a ceiling-less garage, which drives the contrast and noise higher than I want.
In an upcoming video, I will be painting, modding, and doing a rebuild of my present: motherboard, power supply, video card, and drives in this case. In the future I will likely refit the case with an 8-core motherboard and processor.
