Motorcycle gets T boned by left turner.
Rider nearly lost his life and part of left leg was nearly amputated. Shattered Femur, Tibia & Fibula. Had zero blood pressure when paramedics arrived. Had to have 2 blood transfusions. Had kidney failure. Severe road rash on right leg, left arm, right shoulder, face and inside of bottom lip. Lacerations to teeth from the cement. Had to undergo severe orthopaedic surgery and plastic surgery including a muscle flap graft from latissimus and skin graft from right thigh. Will be having a bone graft from hip as there is 6cm of tibia missing. Femur and Tibia are both held in place with steel rods. 2" of femur is floating in thigh and needs daily ultrasound treatment to promote bone growth in hopes another surgery is not needed. Not to mention the severe ptsd, panic & anxiety attacks, nightmares and stress of dealing with insurance company. The rider was driving 50km/h (the speed limit).
