I'm well aware that you might be able to change out components in RTF models, it's just harder then if you've built everything yourself. Check out this video as an example of that:

So you want to get your first drone? I'm explaining the different types of acronyms you will encounter when ordering your first drone. I also mentioned in the video that I would recommend some models in the different types of build, which I missed in some cases. So here we go:
RTF:
Aerial photography - Phantom / Yuneec (brand)
FPV/Freestyle - Walkera Runner 250 (No experience of this but I've heard good things about it)
BNF

Aerial Photography - DJI F450 or F550 Flame wheel (my current setup)
