Again there has been a massive delivery of fill during the past week. The 2 lane extension along QE2 Dr has now blocked off the drive of the house opposite Philpotts Rd. Work continues removing the residue of the eucalyptus and silver birch that used to run along the roadside. The timber has been shredded and mulched.
Hills Rd has been closed from QE2, and work is underway to extend the under road cycleway since it will now be covered by an additional 2 lanes.
New fill and surcharge is being delivered the length of the road between QE2 and Prestons Rd.
The new cell / mobile communications tower was worked on during the week with the antennae and wiring being connected at the top of the tower.
The cycle way on Winters Rd is being enclosed and once completed fill will start covering it, and gravel delivery will head towards QE2 on the south side. The south facing panels will then be started for that bridge support.
The Radian Pro goes for a flight over the CNC site, and finds a bit of amusement afterwards.
