I am finished with strollers, however there are times when the youngest family member needs a break from walking when out at the zoo or perhaps when we go to the park.
Wagons work well for the post-stroller age but they take up a lot of space and they are not ideal for families with cars or vans and SUV's with no space to fold seats down.
A few weeks ago I found this collapsible wagon at Costco.
wagonI have seen them in the past at Canadian Tire and online through Amazon but they were priced around $150. This one from Costco was $79! I generally trust that any product I buy at Costco is a decent quality, plus they have a really great return policy.
When I brought it home, I opened the box and it as all assembled and even had it's own carrying case. I opted to just throw that out as I know for a fact I'll never pack it up again. It expands like an accordion and folds up just as easy with a quick lift of a handle in the middle. It comes with cup holders and a divider that snaps in and out that I will choose not to use.
I should emphasize that this wagon is not recommended for children to ride in. It is designed to carry cargo only and has a weight limit of 100 lbs. I fully intend on putting my 2 year old in it regardless of what the instructions say. I know the manufacturer is just covering themselves for legal purposes.
