Colorado Springs has a wonderful beautiful mountain called Pikes Peak. It soars over the sea at 14,110 feet. It is 13 miles up to the summit and is one of the more advanced hikes in Colorado.
I made a new years resolution this year in 2014 to climb it again. I used to climb it all the time when I was in my youth, but now I am 47 yrs old. Well, I did it and cannot wait until next year. You have got to go with me! It is so worth it.
