A little video I put together showing you how you can replace the tired old nicd packs for your cordless drills/drivers with modern LiPo or LiIon batteries. A new NiCd pack costs about $30-$40 dollars each. Converting 2 packs to LiPo or LiIon cost me about $25. The benefits include longer run times since the mAh is higher on these new batteries, no dropoff in performance as the batteries run down, longer shelf life in between use, and easy replacement should they need to be replaced. And off course, there's the cool factor with the battery monitor :)
Edit: when I say 1.6milliamps, I really mean 1.6amps or 1600milliamps
