While Scott Byerly is typically credited as the first wakeboarder to land a 720, Cory Pickos was doing them all the way back in 1994. The fact that he was landing 7s on a directional board and bungee bindings behind an unweighted ski boat with no extended pylon or tower makes it all the more impressive.
