In 2013, Final Fantasy XIV will undergo a massive paradigm shift that will change the game world as we know it - Version 2.0 is coming.
This trailer takes all of what we know of pre-2.0, and puts it into a two-minute presentation.

Important Note: Some of the combat moves you see in this trailer no longer exist, due to the combat system revamp. Also, "Winter 2013" refers to Q4 2012/Q1 2013. According to Square Enix's plans for FFXIV 2.0, 2.0 is expected to go live in that time frame. Due to patch 1.21 being a month late, I am estimating that 2.0 will be "live" in January or February 2013. That's especially after factoring in minor circumstances involving Murphy's Law taking effect. (And I'd fix it back to "Winter 2012" if I could, but YouTube doesn't let me reupload to the same URL/entry, as far as I know.)
