Wanting my drone to look more professional, I take the time to design a custom "backpack" for the top of my drone frame. Using a 3D printer and TPU, I build a custom solution for handling my GoPro, ND Filters, GPS, Beeper and battery to make my drone easier to use and more reliable in the field. To cover this entire process, I sit down with my engineering buddy Alex Flage to talk about the materials, the process, the software and all the basics of how we went about getting my parts made. Custom parts can be an option for you if you want a cleaner, more robust system (although heavier) for you Cinematic FPV Drone set-up.
