A quick video showing the results and process of the Glowforge cutting out some ornaments out of 1/8" cast acrylic sheet. The GF has a strange 12x20 bed size, so commercial pre-cut material is not easy to find, but I have more material on its way. This is the proofgrade material from GlowForge, and I ordered some more of that as well as some 12x12 sheets from Amazon that we will try out. I am really happy with how the ornaments are coming out, and can't wait for Derby this weekend!
-Cut for the 12 ornaments in each batch is 2hr 7min using the Medium Acrylic material selection and 3D engraving. The source images for the engraving are .png, but the cuts are in .svg. Unfortunately the GF software will not handle text in SVG yet.
