Hey VR Heads!
Just a quick video with a few suggestions and preparatory steps for Rift use:
-Hold it right: on the goggle part, not the screen part!
-Nickels are awesome for adjusting the screen! (International folks, try whatever coins you have!)
-Keep a soft cloth handy for lens cleaning!
-Make your desktop wallpaper Rift compatible!
-Get acclimated before moving in VR! Don't be stupid like Bruce!
Here's a bonus tip, thanks to EvolveDanT on /r/oculus: Change the eye cups with the screen facing up!
"Even the most tinyest, itty bitty spec of dust that lands on the LCD screen will create a foreign particle in VR that is impossible not to notice. Think dead pixel but more annoying in VR because only one eye can see it. (Worse if each eye has it's own dust spec in different locations.)"
I agree with this tip wholeheartedly!
