Hello & welcome back ☺️ So I know I'm not the only female who has too many oversized shirts & never wears them just because they're too big! Well in this video I'm showing you an easy trick I use when I want a particular shirt to be a size smaller. This is also a great trick to use when you don't feel like taking back a cute tee that was just a little too big for you. E N J O Y (:
MATERIALS USED :
Scissors
Needle & Thread
Measuring Tape
Marking Pens
Pirates Jersey : Thrifted
S T E P 1 : Begin to cut shirt at seam starting at the bottom, up to the armpit, & then to the end of the sleeve itself. ( BE CAREFUL. & make sure to only cut along the seam line )
S T E P 2 : Turn the shirt inside out.
S T E P 3 : Through out the process of taking in your shirt, make sure the edges are aligned properly at all times.
S T E P 4 : Take your measuring tape & mark how far you want to take in the shirt using your marking pen.
S T E P 5 : Pin the holding pins along the marked lines.
S T E P 6 : Begin sewing, using the lines & pins as a guideline.
S T E P 7 : Remove the holding pins from the shirt.
S T E P 8 : Before moving on, turn the shirt right side in & make sure you're happy with your work. If not, you can always go back & fix any mistakes.
S T E P 9 : Turn the shirt inside out again, & cut off the excess fabric.
A L L F I N I S H E D !!! (:
Make sure to check for any pins you may have dropped on the floor. You'll regret it the day you step on one! Lol
