Part 1 shows: A 50,000 people sampling. The interconnecting lines represent their social graph (e.g., Facebook friends, Twitter followers, etc).
Part 2 shows: The TV content graph for shows and commercials. TV content has its own graph too because shows and commercials are related. For example: all the individual episodes of a series are connected. If a commercial runs during a show, that commercial and show are connected.
Notice the huge empty space between the Social Graph and the TV Content Graph. In other words, TV mass media has no audience feedback loop... until now.
Part 3 shows: The "connective tissue" between what airs on TV (shows and commercials) and what people say about it via social media. Each line in the connective tissue is a piece of social media commentary made about a show or a commercial.
Part 4 shows: An example. In this case, it's real time social media response to the State of the Union address.
