Made my way out to Dayton, OH for the day to race with pilots from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Pennsylvania at the Dayton FPV Mall Series. The race is held in a closed down HHGregg (R.I.P.). After a full day of qualifying I ended up ranking 5th, advancing once through top 8, but then getting knocked out landing me in 8th place I believe.
I flew my 3” Titan SX-140 all day until a few rounds before finals. Didn’t get much time to warm up to my 5”, but regardless of technical issues it was tons of fun.
