A third cyber attack has now disrupted internet infrastructure company Dyn affecting sites like Twitter, Reddit, Etsy, Paypal, Netflix and dozens more. Just who is behind the massive ddos attacks is still a mystery. Will it be blamed on Russia after last weeks declaration of a possible cyber war by the United States or is this the work of a still unknown hacker group and if so, why?
US intelligence is currently saying it is doubtful that this is the result of a state sponsored attack and instead is classic cyber vandalism. What do you think? Is this a false flag, cyber warfare, system test or the work of sophisticated hackers with unknown intent?
