In these early days of VR - when native content is sparse, legacy games can offer us beautiful, finely crafted worlds to explore. VR hardware like the Oculus DK2 and the Virtuix Omni allow us to appreciate them now in ways we could not when they were first released.
Here I'm testing Dear Esther using the VorpX driver to display in the DK2, and the Virtuix Omni for motion input and to overcome simulator sickness; with great results!
About me: I'm a Pathfinder in the Virtuix user-testing program. While I can't wait to do some play-throughs using my Omni, I'm currently establishing the best settings for playing popular legacy games in VR. I hope to publish some guides and video tutorials soon. Stay tuned!
