An unboxing and review of the Dell UltraSharp UP3216Q 4K PremierColor Monitor.
This is potentially a gorgeous looking monitor, with a 31.5” diagonal and containing 8.3 megapixels. It boasts a 10 bit IPS panel, a colour gamut of 99.5% of AdobeRGB, and has an internal hardware LUT.
This video is a bit non-linear. I began this review after receiving first one monitor, and then a second (of the same model) after being dissatisfied with the first. Both monitors had problems with luminance uniformity and colour temperature uniformity across the screen as observed by eye, and measured by a colorimeter.
When Dell sent me a third UP3216Q panel I thought I would do an unboxing video up front, and I did further testing to finish off the video, and reach a conclusion.
