The growing community of private DIY Drone designers and manufacturers has inspired us to create a workshop series focusing on the simulation of a drone design. The series is directed to makers and drone enthusiasts, who want to learn how to modify and optimize their own drone design.
In the first session, we will talk about to the fundamentals of aerodynamics and propeller design. You will learn how to predict the performance of your design using fluid flow simulations. Following this, you will design your own propeller as part of the homework.
