VanDam Construction builds custom outdoor kitchens. Fallow these simple steps:
1. Frame with steel studs 16" on center.
2. Be sure to frame the rough openings for the appliances to the exact manufacturer's recommendations.
3. Hang the concrete board. (treat it like drywall; screws to secure, score with a razor and snap to cut)
4. Double coat stucco on seems, corners and screw tops. A scratch coat is only necessary where stone will be applied.
5. Install countertop.
6. Install appliances.
7. Have fun!
Renaissance granite and marble supplied the countertops. Pacific supply is where I purchased the stone. Ferguson plumbing supplied the coyote appliances for both of these builds. 50" BBQ with smoker, 42" BBQ with rotisserie, fridge, sink, trash pull out, side burner with accessory griddle, access doors, all from coyote outdoor. They have an excellent selection that you can purchase from Ferguson.
