I created my own Solar Pool Heater. I cut a 4'x8' sheet in 1/2 and coated in Black Deck Paint. I then assembled two 4'x4' boxes. I used 3/4" polyethylene pipe for the first box, but I recommend using 1/2" piping instead. You will get around 200ft in a box vs the 130ft of 3/4". Once the pipe is wound, I place an acrylic sheet over the top to create the greenhouse effect.
