DJ Shortkut from Beat Junkies, Invisible Scratch Pickles and Triple Threat started DJing in1987 at the age of 12. Pioneer of scratching, with his Philipino crews with legendary DJs like DJ Qbert and Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys), he now often comes back to Manila, Philippines, to bring people into a musical journey. We met him in the club Black Market (Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines) where he often plays to share his scratching skills and his eclectic and great music selection.
Dj Shortkut, is famous for bringing new techniques which influenced thousands of DJs for the past 20 years. Playing Hip-Hop, Reggae, Soul, Funk but also house music, DJ Shortkut has no music boundaries.
With Triple Treat, they joined the soundclash business and won their first title in San Francisco Redbull Culture Clash in 2014.
