This video is: "DJI Inspire Flight Two - Learning to Fly". I went out very early this morning to shoot my first 4K video taken with the Inspire 1. The camera is set to shoot in "FPV" mode - i.e. it points straight ahead and isn't stabilised. All the buffeting the airframe is normally subjected-to is shown in the footage. This is not the way you'd capture smooth gimbal-corrected footage obviously, but is essentially the way you'd use it to control its flight under first person video control. I have a set of Zeiss Cinemizer FPV goggles coming from the USA shortly, so this will be very interesting. I can't wait to fly the 'copter off not the relative far distance and fly it through the machine's eyes alone. I know it's all fairly common these days, but hey - it's new to me! :) Soooooo much to learn.
PS - the piece falling off is just a bit of foam anti-rub packing material I leave on the carbon fibre landing gear so that it isn't scratched by the batteries or transmitter.
