I wanted to do this video because at this time of year I'm going over this a few times a week with clients. If you do these four things, you'll have a much better buying experience.
1. understand what your optimal bike fit looks like, or at least what direction you should lean (i.e. need a longer bar reach, or ability to get the hips further back behind the feet, or a higher bar height, etc).
2. Learn how to measure effective top tube
3. Learn how to look up geometry online
4. Understand and know you bar reach and height matrices -- much more on this in the video. But essentially you need to know what other factors contribute to your bar height and reach
