Cycle Technologies Joins Researchers from Georgetown’s Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH) to Answer Questions on the Dot Fertility & Period Tracker App Study.
Members of the press were recently invited to a live press briefing via teleconference hosted by the Institute for Reproductive Health at Georgetown (IRH) to discuss the Dot contraceptive efficacy study. Dr. Victoria Jennings and Dr. Rebecca Simmons, the lead researchers for the Dot efficacy study at IRH, and Leslie Heyer, founder of Cycle Technologies, the company that developed the Dot app, gave an overview of the year-long Dot efficacy trial which launched recently. In this brief 8 minute recording, participants discuss why the first ever, real world efficacy of a fertility app to prevent pregnancy is significant, and how Dot users can help advance the science of birth control and family planning for women everywhere.
Moderated by IRH's Sophie Savage, the complete full length recording is available to those who participated in the Q & A or who previously RSVP'd to the teleconference invitation. If you were invited to participate in this press brief and would like to hear the recording in its entirety, please contact Sophie Savage at
