The function takes date, project, and workdir as arguments.
Date defaults to two days prior to current date. The current date will often not work because gdelt has not yet updated it. One day prior works on my local machine, but often does not work on my virtual machine. Two days prior is a stable target.
Project defaults to "counts", with no particular rationale.
Workdir defaults to C:/Users/Administrator/Documents, the working directory on my virtual machine.
