I got a little careless today and clipped a tree while flying low and the Drak went down! My first mistake was flying on the deck with BOTH of my VRX antennas being high gain directionals and pointed in the wrong direction! I knew ABOUT where (it was across an inlet from where I was flying from) but not exactly.
The good news is that there was very minimal damage and since I was flying with the DragonLink Advanced system locating the DDD (Disgraced Downed Drak) was EASY! I still had a telemetry connection via the DLA so I got out my phone, started the Tower App, and once I had a fix I drove and walked RIGHT the DDD!
