review and setup of the D4 RWD of Guy, ADMRC
complete set up:
rear height: 4mm
front height: 7mm
front:
caster: -15°
camber: -12°
toe: -2°
kpi: 6° ( modified D4 knuckles with the too much 12° )
damper: red springs + out of box oil and pistons.
rear:
caster: 0°
camber: -1°
toe: 0.5°
damper: green springs + out of box oil and pistons.
rear battery pack position.
steering system:
out of box ackerman axle
right steering axle: 33mm
left steering axle: 30mm
servo axle: 47mm
HPI Tdrift tires in front, and DS racing RWD II F zero at rear for carpet surface.
for concrete surface, or painted ciment, i recommend to use DSracing CS F3 at rear, or streetjam medium. but juste test what tire is the best for your surface.
