LA Kings fans were celebrating a game 5 win in the 2014 Stanley Cup Championship series on Friday night outside of Staples Center, Los Angeles. The win in double overtime declared them the champions. As everyone was celebrating a drone appeared over the crowd looking to grab some footage and a birds eye view. It wasn't long before they started throwing bottles, shirts or anything they could find on the streets. The drone operator was undeterred and continued to stick around flying way too low. Eventually the inevitable happened. Once the drone hit the ground it was game over. Contrary to many rumors the drone did not belong to the LAPD as confirmed by the LA Times.
