I love everything about my F60PRO except the fact they are too thirsty and need to go for this reason.
I test two props in this video. The RK 5040X3 and the RK5038 (crains). Many acro pilots fly the 5040x3 for its in flight qualities but it is not the best for racing, some would say. RK came out with a 5038 that is supposedly more efficient and I did some bench testing with it that backs this claim up. However when I flew with them I noticed that might not be the case.
So this is DVR of my little test. The powertrain down to the lipo was the same in both test. The only thing that changed was the prop. So why does the 5038 not perform as well as the 5040x3? No clue but what I learned is until I find a new motor I will not be flying the crains
