Eachine E010S Must-do mods! - cheap and free performance boosts
So if you saw my previous E010S review video you might have assumed that I didn't end up liking it very much. Well in its stock form it's just very "safe"... with these mods: IT. IS. A. BEAST!!!! If I'm honest, I'm still trying to get used to flying it this way. It's almost too fast for my little New York apartment. I am so impressed with it and if you have a Taranis, FlySky, or DSM2 capable controller you need to get one of these. It's legitimately amazing. I'll link all the parts/items in the video below. Here are some of the mods I highlight in the video:
1) Two prop propellers - after taking the props off, use an exacto knife or box cutter to cleanly cut off two of the blades. You get a bit less thrust but a lot more responsiveness with the 59,000rpm motors, and you save a tiny bit of weight.
2) Remove the micro-losi connector and replace it with an MCPX (blade indutrix style) connector. It's slightly lighter and the Eachine 150mah 45c batteries are designed to fit the battery compartment, and they provide a great boost in speed.
3) Cut two of the battery holder strips, it will save you around .5grams, which is a good improvement for this quad.
4)The new CM275T camera (i'll post link below) is almost the same as the Boldclash F-01 camera I have on mine, but I believe you get more channels and it's, I thin, a tiny bit lighter!
In total, I was able to trim mine down to 19.77 grams! Which with these whoops, with these motors, etc, it is ridiculously fast.
