This is just some raw footage of me and my friend Matej flying recorded with DVR from Eachine EV800D a friend from Ohio JJ sent me a few months ago. It’s been long overdue but due to vacation and some SD card problems I finally got the vid up. Also no bench review because I haven’t set up my shop yet and I didn’t acquire the fancy green (mm grid) mat everyone is putting on their desks to make it look pro :).
It looks great for a budget set of box goggles and I can fully recommend these for a starter FPV pilots. High resolution screen, integrated battery and ability to connect external 3S are a great upgrade to basic EV800 model. Also features dual receivers that work in diversity mode or manual if you want. It comes with 2 awesome antennas (6 leaf RHCP clover leaf and a high dbi gain patch) that give these goggles some amazing range and clear image.
DVR is also great and completely easy to use. 1 button to record and take snapshots. Also has audio and video out. What’s not to like? It also has an ability to detach the monitor and use it as a standalone monitor and DVR station for your crew.
Again, massive shout out to my buddy JJ for sending me these in the first place to replace my VR007s I rocked for past 6 months. He also does some amazing reviews and build videos using common people point of view and side notes that makes his videos ton of fun to watch.
